The Customer Service Representative (CSR), under the direction of the Office Manager, is primarily responsible for executing all administrative tasks to the highest quality standard using efficient communication and multitasking skills while also holding a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their needs, answer phones, and respond to general face-to-face inquiries.
- Greet customers, members, and members guests in a friendly, positive manner.

The Seasonal Outdoor Recreation Supervisor works under the direct supervision of the Facility Manager to ensure a safe, fun, and well-maintained waterfront experience at Mahogany Lake. This role supervises approximately 13 Beach Attendants, overseeing all facets of watercraft rentals, beach cleanliness, and visitor services. The Supervisor also gathers and provides weekly operational metrics, liaises with the Maintenance Department for equipment repairs, and manages inventory of boat parts and related supplies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Staff Supervision & Training:
- Lead, schedule, and supervise a team of approximately13 Beach Attendants.
- Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing coaching to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss procedures, address concerns, and reinforce policies.
Daily Operations & Customer Service:
- Oversee the rental of watercraft (e.g., paddleboards, kayaks, canoes) and sports/play equipment to residents and guests.
- Ensure proper inspection and maintenance of all rental equipment before and after use.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved effectively.
Reporting & Communication:
- Work under the supervision of the Facility Manager, providing regular updates on operations.
- Prepare and present weekly “dashboard” metrics, including rental volumes, customer service issues, and other relevant operational data.
- Communicate effectively with senior management about any emerging trends or concerns.
Safety & Regulation Enforcement:
- Enforce park rules, regulations, and safety protocols, including lake usage guidelines and lifejacket requirements.
- Promote water safety by educating visitors on safe boating practices and waterfront etiquette.
- Monitor waterfront conditions and respond to incidents or emergencies in coordination with the appropriate services.
Maintenance Coordination & Inventory Management:
- Liaise with the Maintenance Department to report needed repairs or maintenance on watercraft and other equipment, ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
- Manage boat parts inventory, including tracking usage and coordinating reorders to maintain adequate supply levels.
- Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of beaches, park areas, and equipment storage facilities.
Administrative Duties:

The Outdoor Host / Recreation – Beach Attendant plays a key role in delivering a fun, safe, and clean waterfront and recreational experience at Mahogany Lake. Reporting to the Outdoor / Recreation – Beach Lead, this position involves renting and inspecting watercraft, lawn games, and other sports equipment; assisting visitors with inquiries; and ensuring that all beach and lake areas are kept clean and secure. - Follow established cleaning and sanitization procedures for all rental equipment and common areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
- Alert the Maintenance Department or management to any issues that require additional attention or repairs.
Administrative Support:
- Assist in maintaining clear, accurate records of daily activities, equipment usage, and incident reports.
- Communicate regularly with the Beach Lead, providing updates on equipment needs or inventory shortages (e.g., boat parts, lawn game pieces, sports gear).

The Mahogany Homeowners Association is seeking a Landscaping Supervisor to oversee and contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of the Mahogany community’s outdoor spaces under the Enhanced Landscape Maintenance Program.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role is responsible for leading and working alongside the landscaping team to ensure high-quality grounds maintenance, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the effective execution of seasonal and special landscaping projects.
The ideal candidate is a skilled and experienced landscape professional with strong leadership abilities, a commitment to safety and environmental sustainability, and the expertise to manage both routine maintenance and larger-scale landscaping initiatives. This position requires hands-on involvement, team coordination, and a proactive approach to preserving and enhancing the beauty and functionality of the community’s green spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and work alongside the landscaping team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.

The position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the market, working with market vendors and other stakeholders, both internal and external to the market. In addition, the position works closely with the management team to ensure that set up and strategic plans for the organization are developed and implemented.

- Complete Market Manager Training and Food Safety Basics for Farmers’ Markets online food safety course within the required timeframe
- Develop a reporting process with the General Manager or designate (Supervisor) to ensure proper communication pertaining to issues in the market
- Keep the supervisor up to date with project progress and weekly market operations
- Work with the Supervisor to develop and implement a strategic plan and annual action plans
- Communicate respectfully with vendors, board members, sponsors, inspectors and other stakeholders
- Assist vendors with their needs and respond in a timely manner via telephone, email and face to face inquiries
- Ensure vendors have a copy of the rules at the start of the market season and they adhere to the market rules: Review and update annually
- Be able to interpret the market rules for vendors and others in a consistent and fair manner. In some cases, this may result in disputes between vendors or between vendors and customers, which need to be diffused through a proper dispute process
- Work with the Supervisor to develop and implement an emergency readiness plan
- Have a working knowledge of legislation and associated regulations, both provincial and federal, which affects the vendors in the market
- Ensure vendors and the market operations comply with all local bylaws and provincial and federal legislation. In order to meet the permit holder requirements of the Food Regulation, develop a process for inspecting all food vendors for compliance with the Regulation. This may include both in-person and virtual inspections as well as written documentation/checklists. Ensure AHS is updated with any changes
- Responsible for prohibiting vendors from selling their products until they comply with all applicable legislation and market rules
- Address regulatory issues within the market and with the vendors by working closely with the local public health inspector and other agency inspectors.
- Ensure all food vendors have completed the Food Safety Basics for Farmers’ Markets online food safety course within the allotted timeframe and that all renewals are completed on time
- Maintain accurate and complete records on the market and vendors throughout the year including vendor check in and payments received
- Complete required Alberts Farmers Market reporting paperwork by January 15 of each year
- Work with the Supervisor to determine the optimal market mix, always keeping in mind the 80/20 Rule
- Actively recruit vendors to meet the optimal market mix
- Ensure all new and returning vendors complete an application form listing their contact and product information
- Represent the market in meetings with external stakeholders, building positive community relations
- Work with the MHOA Marketing team to initiate media stories and promotions on the market using innovative techniques
- Work with marketing to identify signage requirements. Ensure signs are displayed prominently in the community prior to each market date and removed following the event
- Arrive at the market a set time period before the market opens to the public in order to mark out booth spaces, greet vendors when they arrive to set up their stalls and ensure they are in compliance with market policies
- Be visible and accessible to vendors and customers during the market day
- Prior to leaving the market at the end of the market day, ensure the market area is clean and meets all the requirements laid out in the market rental or lease agreement
- Conduct periodic surveys, both formal and informal, to assess customer opinions and satisfaction with the market
- Receive input from vendors and customers to improve the market
- Identify and attend professional development activities annually
- Debrief the Management Team and vendors after workshops, conferences and retreats
- Assist in special events as required
- Have a good understanding of what the different stakeholders’ roles are within the community
- Have a good understanding of the MHOA community and where the community is with the development process
- Be up to date with current seasonal operations and needs both with the MHOA and Hopewell
- Be able to ask questions and make inquires to find the correct answer for any customer inquiry
- Be able to think outside the box and look at current processes and look for better ways to improve these processes
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Complete Market Manager Training and Food Safety Basics for Farmers’ Markets online food safety course within the required timeframe
- Obtain a valid Proserve certificate
- Interest and passion for farmers’ markets as a direct marketing channel
- Excellent conflict management skills
- Able to communicate well, both in writing and orally, with a variety of stakeholders in a variety of situations
- Previous market experience an asset
- Strong social media knowledge
- Time management and organizational skills are critical
- Experience in food service management would be an asset so there is a good understanding/knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements for food vendors
- Experience working with a volunteer board
- Strong leadership skills
- Willingness to engage in additional professional development activities
- Experience in customer service an asset. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to assist people
- Leadership/Supervisory experience is desired
- Secondary education is an asset
- Proactive and positive attitude is a must
- Strong work ethic
- A willingness to learn and develop skill levels and experience
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Market Coordinator position is flexible with the number of markets that may take place throughout the year, both indoor and outdoor
Working Conditions:
